Newrhythmic 38 Adam Kelly "Temporal Desoltion EP" opens up with "Temporal Desolation (Original Mix)". Here we have a track on the lower BPM side of things. The track is a heavy and harsh journey, swirling FM synthesis, big reverbs, escalating noise, dark pads and granular effects all combining for an esoteric sound. Track 2; "Dark Alleys" has a more minimal, yet punchy and heavy sound, still pushing a dark and eerie vibe, with soft whispering breath noises sneaking in and out of audibility producing a deep and atmospheric finish. With track 3; "Terminal" we have a raw and full on sound for the dance floor. With a rumbling bass, straight groove and 909 percussion, this track still maintains depth and space and would serve as an ideal mix track. With track 4 we have "Temporal Desolation (Joton Remix)". Spacey, deep and dark, maintaining elements from the original version, yet bringing something new, this track is a is like being sucked in to a black hole! Very classy techno which would work well for the dance floor.
